 High-Performance M TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder petrol engine. The M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine with 405 kW (550 hp) features superior power delivery and the striking characteristic M engine sound.
CS specific driving dynamics. From specific springs, anti-roll bars, damping elements and control arms to traction control: The BMW M3 CS is made for the race track.
Reduced weight. For more agile driving, plastic components reinforced with carbon fibre (CFRP) and intelligent lightweight construction reduce weight by approx. 20 kg compared to the BMW M3 Competition with M xDrive.
Bonnet and carbon front splitter. The bonnet with visible carbon and the front splitter made of carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) significantly reinforce the performance-oriented appearance of the BMW M3 CS.
BMW Laserlight with yellow icons. The M Laserlight makes the high-beam headlights shine particularly far and is reminiscent of GT racing cars with its bright yellow icons.
M Carbon rear spoiler. The M Carbon rear spoiler reinforces the contact pressure on the road on faster journeys and increases your control of the BMW M3 CS. In addition to its visual value as a racing reference, it generates more downforce at the rear axle and ensures a more stable and superior driving experience, especially during fast cornering manoeuvres.
M Carbon bucket seats. The M Carbon bucket seat in bicolour Black/Red with contrast stitching combines the lightness and racing character of a bucket seat with the range of functions of an M sport seat.
Rear seat bench in Bicolour Black/Red. The athletic presence of the exterior also carries through to the rear. The rear seat bench in a Black and Red Bicolour look is a real eye-catcher in the interior.

    With its crisply defined proportions and distinctive four-door 3-box design – front, passenger compartment and rear are formally and recognisably separated – the silhouette of the BMW M3 Competition Sedan creates an agile and nimble effect.

    Rear design.

    Alongside the muscular wheel arches, the broad track width of the M specific axles produces a powerful stance that impressively underlines the performance-oriented ambitions of the sports saloon.

     M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engines. Two top athletes conveying pure driving pleasure: The M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine features superior power delivery and the striking characteristic M engine sound. The M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder diesel engine features impressive power delivery and exemplary consumption figures.
    8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. The 8-speed Steptronic sport transmission allows you both comfortable sliding gear changes and a dynamic driving style with very sporty gear changes – automatically and also manually via rocker switch. In SPORT mode the gear shifts are configured for maximum performance.
    M Technology package. The M Technology package includes an optimised cooling package, which ensures maximum performance even in sporting use. This benefits the engine and the intercooler equally, so that the engine always operates thermally healthy even under high loads.
    BMW kidney grille with mesh look. The distinctive BMW kidney grille with mesh look sets an optical highlight in the front of the new BMW M340i xDrive Sedan and the new BMW M340d xDrive Sedan. Exclusive, horizontally aligned nuggets in Silver matt and the kidney grill frame in satin chrome attract admiring glances.
    M exterior mirrors. The aerodynamically optimised M exterior mirrors in Black high-gloss with a two-bar design not only set an impressive accent in contrast to the vehicle colour but also provide a clear overview in every situation thanks to their aspherical glasses.
    The rear design. Enlarged to 100 mm, the tailpipes on either side and the trim with chrome component create a particularly athletic appearance for the rear. Interaction with the large diffuser between the tailpipes and the vertical, recessed reflectors further emphasises the sporty intentions of the vehicle.
    M leather steering wheel. With the M leather steering wheel incl. 12 o'clock marking and multifunction, you experience a sporty, direct steering feel.
    Sport seats for driver and front passenger. Sporty yet comfortable: The Sport seats for driver and front passenger provide optimum lateral support with their raised side bolsters and manually adjustable thigh support. The fore-and-aft position and, depending on the equipment, angle of the seat can also be adjusted.
    Exclusive door sill finishers. The exclusive door sill finishers with M logo in Silver Grey on the inserts send out a sporty signal as soon as you enter. They provide a visual foretaste of the thrilling driving experience to come that awaits you in the new BMW M340i xDrive Sedan and the new BMW M340d xDrive Sedan.

    M Drive. With M Drive you can configure your personal driving profiles with your own transmission shifting settings, engine, damper, steering and braking characteristics. Use the red M1/M2 buttons on your M leather steering wheel to activate your M Drive configurations.

    Only available for BMW M3 CS, M3 Competition and M3.
    M specific instrument cluster. The M specific instrument cluster offers a particularly precise and focused display of driving data in the SPORT and TRACK modes.

    BMW Live Cockpit Professional. The BMW Live Cockpit Professional with curved display expands BMW Live Cockpit Plus with a practical, full-colour head-up display.
    BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant is your personal vehicle expert. It allows you to operate numerous vehicle functions using natural language.
    BMW Digital Key. The BMW Digital Key turns your compatible smartphone[1] into a vehicle key. To unlock, simply hold the smartphone next to the door handle; before starting your BMW place it on the smartphone tray. In addition, you can send a Digital Key to up to five friends. [1] The BMW Digital Key is compatible with selected smartphones only. A list of compatible smartphones is available at bmw.com/digitalkey. The use of BMW Digital Key requires the Teleservices equipment.
    Remote Software Upgrade. So your BMW is always up to date. Remote Software Upgrades can be downloaded via the My BMW App or in the vehicle and then installed.
    Driving Assistant Professional. Driving Assistant Professional offers optimum comfort and safety during critical or monotonous traffic situations. Apart from the contents of the Driving Assistant, it also includes Steering and Lane Control Assistant with extended functions, Emergency Stop Assistant and Lane Keeping Assistant with active side collision protection.

    Only available for BMW M3 Competition, M3, M340i xDrive, M340i and M340d xDrive.
    Parking Assistant Plus. Parking Assistant Plus makes parking and manoeuvring the vehicle easier. It features among others the Surround View system including Top View, Panorama View, Remote View 3D, as well as a lateral parking aid, the emergency braking function Active Park Distance Control, Parking Assistant with longitudinal and lateral guidance and Reversing Assistant.

    Only available for BMW M3 Competition, M3, M340i xDrive, M340i and M340d xDrive.
    M Drive Professional. M Drive Professional is the perfect companion for trips with that extra dose of adrenaline. The M TRACK mode and the ten-stage M Traction Control enable tailored drivability, the M Drift Analyser records drift angles and duration and the M Laptimer helps you chase the perfect lap.
